FLOAT TRIPS

True Alaskan Adventures

A group guided by Alaska Rinbow Adventures heads down the Alagnak.

Whether guided or unguided, one of the best ways to experiance Southwest Alaskan fishing and hunting is with a float trip on one of the many rivers draining to Bristol Bay.

Alagnak River Float:
Our most popular trip is down the Alagnak (Branch) River. A nationally protected Wild and Scenic River, it starts at the outlet of Nonvianuk Lake and continues for approximately 45 river miles downstream. The river is class I water the entire way and great for experienced and novice boaters alike. This system offers rainbow trout, char/dolly varden, and grayling all summer as well as excellent in-season opportunity for all 5 Pacific Salmon species. As a full package, Branch River Air can provide: raft and rowing frame, repair kit, pump, life vests, and bear resistant food containers. To simplify planning we offer a per person rate of $1295.00 with a min of 2 persons. This includes round trip float plane service from King Salmon and is based on stays of up to 6 days. Extra days are $125.

Other popular destinations:
Moraine Creek
American Creek (requires class III boating ability)
Other remote rivers
